Title: Tai Chi Diet: food for life. Author: Professor Mike Symonds. Subject: Tai Chi Diet is a completely revised educational manual regarding Taoist Macrobiotic Diet and general nutrition. Prof. Symonds first started studying the effects of food on the human body in 1970, when he became vegetarian for reasons of health. This book was started in 1982 and has been continually edited and improved upon.
The author takes a sometimes frank and shocking approach to the work which, like his general approach to life, pulls no punches and overturns many 'old fashioned' beliefs found in the west! The book covers virtually all aspects of food and nutrition including diagnostics, vitamins and minerals,
all explained. Obtaining a healthy balance and a very good Special Needs section for the most common forms of disease in the west, like Cancer and Arthritis, for example. It's the kind of book you have to read again and again as there is so much knowledge in it.
Availabe around Now from Waterstones, Amazon and all good book shops. If not on the shelf or sold out it can be oredered by in-store search using 'Tai Chi Diet:food for life' as the keywords. Expected price around £14.86 for approx. (Royal Size: large)
